Get your Miss Sixty Fix!

Yes the top on the far right is Stardesign! I got very over excited when I saw this fabulous piece of Stardesign by Yukimi. I am a complete Miss Sixty Junkie & am one of those people that goes on & on about when they are going to release them again..etc. This top actually shut me up for a few minutes, it looks so much like the real thing & only cost 16 stardollars.
Yukimi is a very talented designer so get going to her suite & snap one up for yourself!

New Michael Jackson Doll

I am impressed with the detailing of the clothes on this doll although was surprised they released this doll today. I thought they might have released it a few days ago on the 29th of August, what would be Micheal Jackson's 51st Birthday - Maybe there were 'Technical Difficulties' *Aaah* That phrase again! I think we have all heard that enough times from Stardoll. I won't even mention the Miss Sixty mix up..ooops I just did!
Anyway this is a well 'drawn' doll so is worth a look even if you were not a huge fan of the one & only MJ.

Now this is private..

As of today ClubDollFace is a private club. Myself & [Head manager] Anne.Sofie decided to make the club private after someone, who may have caused 'trouble' for us joined & was banned.
We think the club's members are so wonderful right now, we just don't want to spoil it.
Although the club is private it doesn't mean we don't want new members & we certainly won't be cherry picking so called 'elite' new people; it is just sort of a preventative measure.

Everyone is still welcome to join ClubDollFace.

I hope you all understand why we did this & that you are all fantastic; in fact this was the first time anyone has ever been banned.

Don't depress us Stardoll!

BACK TO SCHOOL! I am sure we are all dreading the end of the summer & going back too school & yet we are bombarded with the THAT phrase everywhere..including Stardoll! I do all I can too live in the illusion that the summer will never end. Don't get me wrong I love 'Preppy' clothing but this all is just depressing me! All I can say is please, we know! Don't remind us.

I'm loving this outfit!

I will be honest, I am not usually a fan of most covergirl's outfits but emorox4eva's outfit is fabulous! I genuinely congratulate her - I think she makes a great cover girl.

This look is incredibly fashionable right now, we just can't seem to get enough 'roadkill hair pieces'! Pictured above from right to left is : LimePolkaDots sporting an adorable black n' white rabbit hairpiece, Me(Marshamellow) wearing an 'old school' style hedgehog afro & finally the most 'fresh' version of this trend, Anne.Sofie wearing 'Ocean Roadkill' a wonderfully flamboyant octopus. Sick of Scammers!!

It seems Stardoll is being over run with scammers and their fake accounts backing up their scams - frankly I am sick of it! What happened to all the good, honest people on Stardoll - don't get me wrong there are tonnes of amazing users (including all our club members :D) but I feel like recently we are never safe from the scam.

For example I just came across this website (advertised on a Stardoll users page) just today:

It promises 100 stardollars a day, old DKNY, OLD hb & anything else you want! In exchange for your Stardoll password - OF COURSE! It is obviously a scam - Please don't fall for it.

Unfortunately scams are usually not this obvious. Most the time scams happen during trades - I am hearing about so many people being scammed when trading. There just seems to be no way of preventing it; I just can't believe people sink that low!
Just recently my good friend & club manager - Anne.Sofie was scammed during a trade by a seemingly 'honest' user.
Stardoll needs to get stricter on scammers & take it seriously. At the minute they seem untouchable.

Her outfit was defiantly the most original of all the entrants! We loved her creativity & this outfit & page makes me think of the beach which is only place I like to be on a hot summers day.
She teamed her unique dress with gladiator sandals which are always a summer staple.

Although we chose a winner it really was incredibly close! I know that is a cliche but in this case it is completely true. Member Makeovers!

Here are the before & after pics for the lucky girls that signed up for the virtual makeovers!
I gave them all a more glamour girl, grown-up style - which is your fav?

1._minsku_
I decided to dye her hair dirty blonde in the style of her favourite celeb Heidi Klum, I think the hairstyle really suites her face & the colour shows of her beautiful eyes! I emphasised her best feature - her eyes - by putting on a light pink on her lips & going all out with the mascara, dark eyeshadow & eyeliner.

I think this makeover really is dramatic! RosieLuv171 said she wanted blonde hair so I dyed it a gorgeous ash blonde colour & again gave her a hairstyle that shows off her features. She already has big blue eyes so I didn't put too much makeup on them - I outlined the whole eye in a stunning aqua eye pencil that brings out the blue eyes & then topped it off with brown mascara.



3.Stecarustap

I defiantly think she needed a more glamorous look, the hairstyle is similar to the before but it is completely of her face & I dyed it a much darker redy brown. I gave her smokey eyes that I think look wonderful- they look so much bigger & you can see that lovely greeny colour they are. I did this with purple eyeshadow, brown liner & black mascara. I also gave her a darker lipstick, which add to that smokey beautiful look!

4. .xRebeccax.

I think she looks amazing with this hairstyle! The fringe really suites her & I made her hair darker. I went for a a gothic glamour look - with purpley-pink lippy matching her eyeshadow.
Not many people can wear these gothic colours without looking well like a goth! But I think her colouring really suites it.

What Sale??

Stardoll is advertising the 50% off Sale but I cannot find a single item on sale in the Starplaza...

Maybe a glitch or something? I know earlier they were also advertsing the new Miss Sixty Store but it wasn't actually there - they have taken it off now though.

Also is it me or wasn't the last Starplaza not so long ago....I thought the Starplaza sale was only once a month.
Let's see what happens - hey I will be happy if it really is the sale!

Which is best?

The real thing by Herve Ledger or the Stardoll version......



I know which one I prefer even if it is worn by one Miley Cyrus. I like this dress but I think Stardoll could have added more detail to it - like the original.

Well I said I would give the look-a-like thing ago! I chose Twiggy because in the Doll Face poll, she was the person that most of you said was you style icon. Well I'm not surprised she's a great style icon! Anyway this is the finished product - yeah I know it's not great but if you thing you can do better send us a message!

So what do you think of Stardolls new look-a-like contest? They want us to dress our medoll like our favourite or celeb that we look most like.
The winner will be voted for by all of us -the 'common stardoll folk' and the prize is (in Stardoll's words) "one-of-a kind luxury sports car" that you will design yourself!? Don't get me wrong this sounds like fun but the prize doesn't sound great.

Doll Face First Post!

Hello Dolls! I am so excited as this is our blogs first ever post. This blog can't compete with the 'heavy weights' of the world of Stardoll Bloggers nor will it try too but hopefully it will help all of ClubDollFace's wonderful members and keep you entertained.
Members will be featured here, club contests advertised & (hopefully!) interesting articles published.
